Rick Singh is running for Mayor of Orange County because he believes leadership should be grounded in experience, guided by service, and driven by unity.

For more than four decades, Orange County has been Rick’s home. The son of an immigrant mother who came to this country with little and worked two and sometimes three jobs as a maid, Rick learned early the values of hard work, discipline, and responsibility. When his father passed away when Rick was just ten years old, those lessons became the foundation of his life — resilience, perseverance, and faith in the promise of opportunity.

Rick proudly served his country as a United States Army veteran, carrying forward a lifelong commitment to duty and public service.

In his professional life, Rick built a successful career in real estate, business, and public administration. As Orange County’s Property Appraiser, he modernized one of the county’s most important constitutional offices — transforming outdated systems into a nationally recognized, data-driven, transparent operation that protected taxpayers, improved access to information, and restored public trust. Under his leadership, the office became a model for efficiency, accuracy, and accountability.

Rick brings a unique perspective — having served as both a CEO in the private sector and as the CEO of one of Orange County’s largest government offices as Property Appraiser, where he delivered real results. He understands how business works, how government works, and how to make both work for the people. In the race for Mayor, experience matters. And Rick is ready to lead from day one.

Rick has a proven record of not backing down from a fight when it comes to standing up to big business or big government on behalf of taxpayers. He has challenged powerful interests, protected homeowners, defended fairness, and demanded accountability — because he believes government should work for the people, not the other way around. And as Mayor, he will stand up for you.

Family is at the heart of Rick’s life and values. His children were educated in Orange County Public Schools and are proud graduates of the University of Central Florida, with one continuing her legal education at FAMU College of Law. His wife, a dedicated healthcare professional, returned to school to become a licensed mental health provider and now serves residents across Orange County — reflecting the family’s deep commitment to service, healing, and community.

Rick believes leadership is not about ideology or division. It is about stewardship. About listening before acting. About solving problems instead of assigning blame. About putting people first — in every neighborhood, at every stage of life.
